I quite like Piet Mondrian's work, though I've never really quite understood the point of the Composition paintings he did, which is what this appears to be based off of. They're intriguing to look at, but I simply don't get any emotional vibes from it. According to one of my friends currently taking a class in art criticism, they're supposed to draw a connection to peace and such. Am I just a shallow person for not realizing that?
